Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. Everything fits onto a sturdy lavender tray with large handles and a built-in stand for the teapot. --Marcie Bovetz

So close...BUT...

I don't know how I missed all the reviews that warned of the holes in the cups. This looks so cute and I was so excited and now I am looking at the OTHER tea set my granddaughter got for Christmas - a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Say Please set with no holes in the cups and a delightful bubbling sound while pouring - much cuter that the sounds this set makes which is that musical whine.
Best feature of the Musical set - the tray and spoons. There are 4 cups (don't forget the cups have HOLES!!??).
Best feature of the Say Please set - much cuter teapot (with a "tea bag" in the "tea" inside the pot), and you can choose from 3 settings that change up what happens when you open the lid OR pour. It makes boiling sounds, pouring sounds, says please and thank you and other things. The 2 cups are cute, sturdy and actually hold "tea". Additionally, there is a little plate of really cute cakes to serve as well. One of the settings is for the cakes, which are shapes - a circle, a triangle and a square!
The Say Please set beats the tar out of the Musical Tea Set, just buy it somewhere else because the price difference is huge. My tea set gift was a loser except for the tray and spoons which my 2 year old granddaughter uses with her COOL tea set. Darn it...

Do not waste your money

Cute to look at, but my 2 year old wants to use water to pour and drink, but there are holes in the cups...now I have to throw it away because she has a melt down because she can't put the water in it and has no desire to just sit there and stare at it...Buy a set that your kids can actually play with and don't waste your money on this one.

F-P Musical Tea Set

I bought this tea set for our church nursery. The young children enjoy it quite a bit and socialize around it. The price was good for the quality of the product.

Darling, durable and fun!

My two and a half year old daughter loves this tea set. She plays with it for at least and hour at a time quite often. The tea pot's music is very cute and never annoying and the whole thing is built to last. It is also very affordable. Over all it's a great toy!
