My 3 1/2 year old son loves Zingo. All you do is make sure all the yellow tiles are in the holder facing the right way and you push the slider and pull it back and instantly, there are two tiles showing. The first person to claim the tile for their board, gets it. I love the fact that there is two sides to the very durable boards. One is for younger children, which is less competitive than the other side. The object is to claim the tiles that match on your bingo board as soon as you can. For younger children, it takes them a bit longer to find the matching picture, so on the easier side, there aren't very many of the same pictures on the boards, therefore, even if it takes them a little while to see it, at least the other player didn't snag it from them. It gives the little ones a chance to win even if they are playing with an older child. Love it!!!

My four year old daughter received this game for Christmas and we've played it at least everyday since then. Zingo is a unique twist on Bingo that uses picture (and word) tiles instead of letters and numbers. One player is the dealer and calls out what the two tiles are (example: Panda, Cat) and the first person who has that picture on their card to call out "wins" that tile. This is where the game gets fun and in our case a little loud, with everyone calling out to try and get the tile before someone else. The first person who fills in their card and yells ZINGO wins. It's nice to have a lot of beginning reader words/pictures and the game cards are very sturdy and are two sided. The tile slider is easy to load -- even for kids. I hope that ThinkFun comes out with supplemental cards and tiles, as I could see that these tiles might get a little old after awhile.
My four year old and my seven year old nieces really enjoy this game -- the older girls don't think it's a "baby" game and my four year old is recognizing words and is "reading" like her older cousins. ZINGO is a great addtion for family game night.

« Utter, complete, total and absolute fun for adults and kids »
Two adults and two children, one 5, the other 3.

Everyone could follow the simple rules: recognize the word or the shape on the two picture tiles ejected from the Zingo dispenser and, if they are on your card, call them out to get them. Call out a tile that's not on your card and you get a warning. Three warnings and you lose a tile. Even the 3 year old understood that.

We had a lot of fun playing several rounds and the kids were still eager for more when bedtime came around.

Overall, Zingo! is a lot of fun. We'll see how long the desire to play is on the kids part, but right now it's a hit - and I enjoy it as well.
