The Plunge water slide
»
We bought the Plunge water slide on Amazon.com for a great price...almost $100 cheaper than stores were selling it. It arrived sooner that we expected, even with the free shipping. The kids LOVE it! The reviews I read were very helpful. For instance, someone said that if you don't move the slide it will kill the grass. This is true. After the first use, I left it in the same place for 2 days, to dry, as suggested. The grass started to die, so the next time we used it I moved it right after we let the water out. This has really helped save the grass. Although, if you have a perfect lawn, you may not want to deal with it because it does take its toll on the yard. One complaint I have is that the electric cord is not long enough to use without an extension cord. Also because of the electric blower I would not recommend for children under 5 or 6 years of age.

Kids loved it!

The kids loved the slide. We got it to use to keep the kids entertained during a party we had. It is very easy to set up. It really inflates in 2 min. The pool does take about 1hr to fill up to the 12 in. recommendation to use the slide. The kids were on it for about 5 hours straight and would have stayed on if it did not get dark and cool. The only bad thing is that the water does come out real quick like a tsunami when you deflate it, so be prepared for a pool of water in your yard. We did set some rules for the slide and the kids pretty much followed them. Will post some real pics as soon as I download them. Would recommened...but really would be great if the pool held the water w/out the blower.

The only one to get!
»
We have owned 4 or 5 of the banzai water slides over the past 3 years. A couple didnt last more than a season and a couple got returned. This one is by far, the best weve had! The huge pool at the bottom makes the whole slide!
We just had my daughters 5th birthday party and there were over 20 kids on this for 3-4 hours (ages 4 thru 10). I thoroughly inspected it afterwards and could see no signs of damage. Believe it or not, one of the dads at the party pulled out his iPhone and ordered one of these right from our backyard! Everyone was so impressed with it.
Today, my son and his friends (ages 7 thru 10) put it to the test and again, it held up beautifully. Let me tell you, they really, really had fun! You know how rough boys this age get! They even used mini boogie-boards on it!
Yes, it uses alot of water and therefore you are hesitant to turn it off until you are certain the kids are done for the day (when you turn it off all the water pours out)Weve had the fan blowing for 7-8 hours straight with no problems! We usually fill the pool for about an hour before we allow the kids on it, they say its much more fun when the pool is full. We leave it out on the grass to use the next day, but we move its location so it doesnt kill the grass. If we arent going to use it for a few days, we blow it up and let it dry (without the water) and then fold it up. No, it absolutely will not fit in the tiny bag it comes in, but we use a plastic toy box and its no problem.
Go for it!

Great!!

We have had soooo much fun with this. It is fun to play on, and to watch the kids play on it. They beg me to get it out. At one party we had, the adults started to go down the slide fully dressed, after watching the kids have so much fun.
It does take a while for it to dry, but I drain the water and then inflate it. It dries a lot faster. I was worried about my water bill, but it wasn't that bad. It was well worth it, since we have had so much fun on it.
