With the Swing Zone Sports video game, your child can get right in the middle of the action. The set-up is simple, and with five different sports challenges to choose from, the fun will last for hours . To get started, simply insert two AAA batteries into the game controller, four AA batteries into the game console, and hook it up to your television with the AV cable provided. Give your child plenty of room to perform all of their favorite sports action and watch as they shine like a sports star. Your child can choose from one of six sports competitors and games: tossing footballs like a quarterback at moving targets; throwing strikes as they bowl 10 frames in the bowling challenge; serving and returning smash hits on the tennis court; teeing up for a round of golf or hitting home runs for points on the baseball diamond; and more. Each sports challenge comes with the option of one or two players, with high scores recorded so your little athlete can keep track of their progress. Adding to the fun are the lightweight, plastic game controller accessory handles, individually designed to look like real sports equipment. Get Off The Couch And Into The Action!
Once you have connected the Swing Zone Sports game console to your television, take a moment to sync it to the hand-held game controller. This may take a few tries of pushing the right buttons, but once the status indicator on the game controller begins flashing, your child is ready to go. Be sure to give them plenty of room to play (at least eight feet of space) so they can safely mimic real sports motions like tossing and swinging. And remember to keep the adjustable wrist strap securely wrapped around each player's wrist during play as forgetting to do so might result in them loosing their grip during the exciting action. My son and stepson, 9 and 7 absolutely love this game!! It was a godsend as an alternative to the Wii and I do not regret buying it. I had purchased a similar wireless game at JC Penney for a whole lot more, and after reading the reviews on this game (and it was mentioned by a reviewer on JC Penney's website as the game they were going to get instead) I returned the JC Penney game and bought TWO Jakks Pacific with the money. I am so glad I did!! The kids are happy and they especially love playing Tennis and Bowling. I only wished that there were more games, but for the price - its awesome!

I bought the Jakks Pacific Ultimotion Swing Zone Sports a week ago from amazon and deliverywas very fast. It took a while to sync the game controler (Had called the maker for help and he said just follow the trouble shooting in the book and if that does not help send it back. no other help, was very short sighted.) Since I got it working it has been a lot of fun(I am retired).Whish they would have made the connection cables a little bit longer for the big screen tv's that have front plug ins towards the bottom of the set. Overall very good , you need to practice to make it easier.

This was a gift for my 6yr son from my mother. He loves it. The whole family plays with it. A great value. My mother saw the same item on qvc for twice more. She was quite happy when I searched for the item on Amazon. I love Amazon and so does she!!!

I set up this swing zone, wasn't that difficult. I got this for my 2 boys and myself and we love it!! A great way to exercise instead of sitting on the couch and watch tv or play games. This product is awesome. Alot cheaper than the WII!!! RATE THIS AN A++++

Who needs WII sports?

My daughter, 10, wanted a WII for Christmas but financially we could not get one for her this year. I found this product on Amazon and read the reviews and immediatley ordered it. We love this product. It is worth every penny for the fun and laughter we get out of it. The entire family plays from children to grandparents! You have to understand it is not as complex as WII sports, you cannot choose what your character looks like and there are only 2 players per game, but that should not hinder your purchase! We just take turns playing who ever wins the previous game. It is a blast. I am 100% satisfied with it, and that is important when every penny counts!
