Shark Rocket Splasher Not So Great

This product didn't perfom as well as I had expected. In the past, I had the regular rocket splasher and it was wonderful. Never had any problems with it, but unfortunately, the Rocket splasher is no longer being produced. The Shark Rocket Splasher doesn't go as high as the old version, and the clear hose that connects the splasher to a garden hose keeps falling off the base of the splasher - it can't seem to handle the pressure of the water. I wouldn't buy this again.

I bought this sprinkler because I was looking for one like a friend had. Her sprinkler you just had to flip a lever back and forth to make the water come out and it would shoot 20 feet in the air. This one has a twisting valve that you have to use. If you go too fast, the shark will fall off so you have to be careful and go slowly. If you do it right, the shark will hover in the air for a while and splash water about. Another bad thing is that there is a plastic hose that attaches to the bottom of the base and it comes undone quite often squirting water directly on the ground. The valve got stuck and we had to take it apart and fix it recently. So....if this product worked smoothly and consistently without all of the things you have to have just perfect, it would be a lot more fun!

Breaks

When we opened it the tube that runs the water through had a tear in it. We fixed it with duck tape. It worked. However, after about an hour of play the switch that allows the water to shoot the rocket up broke. We figure the young kids must have been just to hard on. We were dumb we bought another one, this one went to our older grandchildren. The same part broke on this one. We would not recommend this toy - if it would work it would be great fun. However, it just breaks to easily. Don't buy this toy.
