Great for kid's library

I love the book sling!! My son who's 18 months loves books, and also loves to leave them all over the house. We keep this in our living room and it allows him to get out the book that he wants and sometimes he will even put them away. The sling holds several books and makes it easy for little ones to access.

Great Bookshelf for a small space

This is a great little bookshelf for a very small space. It's perfect for my 21 month old, because it is just about her height, so she likes to pick out the books she wants to read and then put them away.
I didn't give it 5 stars, because many of the smaller books fall below the sling level, so you don't see them, but it's great for larger books. Also, it doesn't hold that many books, so, we use it in her bedroom and the rest of the books are elsewhere.
Easy to put together, needed and allen wrench and took about 15 minutes. Overall, nice product.

This was not a kid's review, just clicked the wrong thing. But, wanted to correct the previous review & say that it holds more kids' books than just 20. We have close to 35 little books in there.

It's little, but for what I paid, it was expected. I was well aware of the measurements. We are able to fit maybe 20 children's books. Our girls have a lot more, so they did not all fit. It won't work for thicker regular-sized books. It's made for slim young-reader books. But, they (1.5 & 4.5 yrs) seem to prefer putting them back in the sling shelf over the regular bookcase. Maybe they learned it from daycare. We haven't had piles of books thrown everywhere since we got it... so nice! Quality-wise, the wood poles that thread through the canvas sling started to split some as we were screwing everything together. But, once complete, it's very sturdy!

Great Bookshelf but much smaller than it looks
»
This is a great for smaller children becuase they are very visual since they don't read. They are able to pick books based on the covers of books versus the binding. We could have used three of them though for the number of books we have. In all, I do recommend these though for kids ages 2-6.
